Dr. Jonathan Brotchie
Jonathan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Atuka Ltd.
He brings to Atuka, the skills necessary for managing a company driven by intellectual property at the cutting edge of
technological innovation.
He is a renowned scientist in the field of Parkinson's disease research and, in additon to his roles in Atuka, he is Senior Scientist at the Toronto Western Research Institute, part of the University Health Network (UHN), Toronto, in Canada. At UHN, Jonathan runs one of the world's premier research laboratories for the identifcation of novel treatments, diagnostics and cures for Parkinson's and related disorders. In the last decade, he has published many influential scientific papers in the field of Parkinson's disease and related disorders.
Jonathan is also Scientific Director of the Cure Parkinson's Trust, a charity supporting research aimed at delivering better treatments and cures for PD.
